Unit 3 (Part 1)
Here's how I would rate each area:
Physical - 6
Spiritual - 7.5
Psychological - 6
As you can see, I have some room for improvement.
My goals for each area are as follows:
Physical - stop snacking at work! I am not totally happy when I look in the mirror. I have always struggled
with weight (my entire family does). So, someone please tell me why I have always wanted to be a
chef! lol I have always loved food. However, we sometimes have a love/hate relationship!
Spiritual - I want to trust God whole heartedly. I have some reservations, especially with money. I want to
never worry and trust that all will be fine by God.
Psychological - I want to start a road to intergral health. Chapter 5 (Dacher) was an eye opener for me. At
least now I have a road map.
To start on these goals, I will try to live in the moment. I am worth a change for the better. I plan to continue to pray. This is one activity that has never let me down. I will take everything I learn in this class as keys to a better life. My life is already pretty great, so I can't wait to see how much better it will be. Especially with all the great support from the Professor and classmates. All of you are wonderful!
Stay tuned for the relaxation exercise...(Part 2)

Maggie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great attitude. Attitude is a very important part of growth. You have a great life, you have faith in prayer and have a support system. What's wrong with wanting to be a chef? I think that's a great goal. Maybe this is something you really need to consider (I think there's a reason you have this love/hate relationship). One of my goals is to be happy with where I am right now! Yes I want to improve myself, my physical appearance, my negative thoughts, but I need to appreciate who and where I am at this very moment.
Hey Maggie!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I would like to start off by saying that you have one of the best blessing ever....a gift (child)from God. She is beautiful. I think we all have a desire to improve ourselves, because we have become so comfortable with who we are and where we are! Then, we wake up one day and desire a change! I think you are on the right track. You know the areas you want to improve in, but you also trust in God to assist you with this change. Just take one day at a time, and continue to trust in God. I promise...he want lead you in the wrong direction. :-)
Wow Maggie this post is great. I love that you want to be a chef. Maybe you should look into healthier cooking classes. They have really good programs for that. I love to cook good food too. If you ever want any tips feel free to ask.
